What is the "New Spirituality"?

It is a way of looking at the world, a way of understanding God and Life and Each Other. That brings each of us a new perspective of our relationship with all of that.

Adopting this new perspective would allow us to see ourselves as One, at last.

The New Spirituality is an interdenominational and non-denominational honouring of each person’s impulse toward the Divine without making others wrong for the way they are doing it. This approach to life and learning is at a core level a way to peace and fundamentally a "Civil Rights Movement of the Soul."

This is Long, But worth the time to read, with life changing information

Past and current religious movements and scripture while valid, have not created or led peace on earth. This is obvious. This is almost certainly because of the separatist theory behind them all. These theories such as “Us & them”, ‘ me & you” and ,”God & I”. Most humans have a” Me for me” or “I for I" attitude in life. We also hear things about the chosen few, there is not enough, we are born Sinners, we are unworthy and inadequate etc.

There is little or no information in earlier scriptures as to who/what we truly are, where we originally come from before our human form.
Where we go when we “Die,” has many theories depending on the group one believes in.

In these times, there is so much Divine information reaching humanity from so many sources. Things are changing faster and faster in more and more ways. Almost a “quickening”, if you like. The way humanity has operated for thousands of years cannot go on. We are rapidly starting to devolve. (The creative force which we are part of has never stopped communicating with us all; however we have become so out of tune with our spiritual side due to various reasons, that we have the potential to obliterate ourselves, UNLESS we all choose not to.)

This divine information is being channelled from many sources, in the realms of the spiritual, to many sources on the planet and is recorded, even in science. It readable in many scripts, and on many websites. (Definition of Channelling: The divine, inspired words (or energy) of God as imparted to Humans by Humans). All scripture on earth is channelled. This current information and process to life is a new and updated practical Spiritual way that we as humans choose to be living in order that we live in harmony with one another and with our living planet, a sustainer of life.

It has never been so important that we now redefine who we are in order that we continue as a race. Through our individual choice, we will move to the NEW SPIRITUALITY, where we live in Peace, Harmony and Joy with our selves as well as in all our relationships on earth. Business and national relationships included. This is currently spreading, globally.

It is as easy as each one deciding on and embracing new concepts. Increasing our awareness of what is. Committing to change our direction in Life. This in turn will cause collective change and guaranteed Peace on earth.

We as people with an increased awareness on our path do not evangelise, we merely offer a small amount of information to create awareness in those that have not heard of the New Spirituality. It is then their choice to proceed on their path with greater awareness, should the basic concept resonate with them or intuitively feel right for them

All that is necessary to start is:

1/ Our individual decision to embrace the concept, work and live it, most importantly for ourselves, and ultimately that will benefit all of humanity. Use your own inner discernment as you move along.

2/ To realize a few Ultimate truths such as:

a) There are many truths, but the core truth of life is: We are all created from the same energy that the universe is created of, that sub-atomic particles are created of. As such we are all part of all that is. Hence we are all ONE – This is a profound thought and truth. This does away with “Me for me” and Us & Them,
Sure, people will have different beliefs or truths about different things, but we as one need to tolerate each others belief/truth and respect that belief/truth. This creates a collective “WE” as a Family concept

b) There is always enough. If we all care for one another and share what is appropriate to share, this will do away with greed and hording for ourselves.

c) There is nothing we have to do. Just be and live the principles. It does work.

d) As we are aware of who we are that would mean that we are working with God, to achieve our desire.



3/ Core concepts.
For holistic living, as a whole person. This encompasses our MIND, our BODY and Our SPIRIT

a) Awareness – Of who we are, what we are, why we are, what we are doing here and why we are doing it here. The Ultimate reality of what our purpose is here on earth.

b) Honesty- That is honesty with ourselves, others and our dealings and interactions with all we do or think.

c) Responsibility - We need to take responsibility for our thoughts and actions. We are responsible for everything that happens to us. That does not mean at fault, but at a higher level, we are responsible and accountable for what happens to us, Not others.

Working from this perspective, you can now redefine yourself as individuals, Redefine yourself as a Society and Redefine success. That is success in your awareness, increased conciousness and interactions in all relationships. Not in Productivity, Popularity and Possessions.

Humans are three part beings. Part mind, part body (temporary facets of our being), and our spirit which is the core of who we are. This Spirit is the eternal part of us. It is our soul which always has been, always is, and always will be. It is our part that is made in the image of the Creator, Spirit, God, Oversoul, or what ever you choose to call the supreme intelligence of all that is. I will use the term God. It is part of God. Our soul, being our life force, and our connection to all that is. To many this will be profound information and it is that with which we need to get “in tune with”. For more detail this is beautifully explained in Books such as “Conversations with God” and “When everything changes, Change Everything” by Neale Donald Walsh. Or the “Power of Now” By Eckhart Tolle. And Channelings by Kryon and other Divine Energies. Sources of the same messages and truths come from abundant sources in these times. It is part of The Great Shift. (Google this key phrase).

If you truly desire to be part of a better world, be part of the collective group who are taking charge and together in a non denominational way, non separatist way irrespective of religion, nationality, creed or colour, Then make the decision, allow your intent and commitment. Be aware of this and through prayer, meditations, visualization or just “putting it out there, ask what is it that the Creative force wishes you to know. Believe that it will work at some level.

3. God has separated you from God because you have not given God what God needs.

5 Fallacies about Life
1. Human beings are separate from each other.
2. There is not enough of what human beings need to be happy.
3. To get the stuff of which there is not enough, human beings must compete with each other.
4. Some human beings are better than other human beings.
5. It is appropriate for human beings to resolve severe differences created by all the other fallacies by killing each other.

Characteristics of Tomorrow's God (The same God, but understood in a greater way)
1. Tomorrow's God does not require anyone to believe in God.
2. Tomorrow's God is without gender, size, shape, colour, or any of the characteristics of an individual living being.
3. Tomorrow's God talks with everyone, all the time.
4. Tomorrow's God is separate from nothing, but is Everywhere, Omni Present, the All In All, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Sum Total of Everything that ever was, is now, and ever shall be. There is nowhere that God is not.
5. Tomorrow's God is not a singular Super Being, but the extraordinary process called Life.

Principles of the New Spirituality (New Revelations)
1. God has never stopped communicating directly with human beings. God has been communicating with and through human beings from the beginning of time. God does so today.

2. Every human being is as special as every other human being who has ever lived, lives now, or ever will live. You are all messengers, every one of you, and you are carrying a message to life about life every day, every hour, every moment. You are ONE WITH ALL THAT IS

3. No path to God is more direct than any other path. No religion is the "one true religion,” no people are “the chosen people,” and no prophet is the “greatest prophet.

4. God needs nothing. God requires nothing in order to be happy. God is happiness itself. Therefore, God requires nothing of anyone or anything in the Universe.

5. God is not a singular Super Being, living somewhere in the Universe or outside of it, having the same emotional needs and subject to the same emotional turmoil as humans. That Which Is God cannot be hurt or damaged in any way, and so, has no need to seek revenge or impose punishment.

6. All things are One Thing. There is only One Thing and all things are part of the One Thing That Is.
THE LAW OF ONE

7. There is no such thing as Right and Wrong. There is only What Works and What Does Not Work, depending upon what it is that you seek to be, to do or have.

8. You are not your body or your name. Who you are, is limitless and without end. You are Spirit with the addition of a mind and body in this realm. The realm of physicality.

9. You cannot die, and you will never be condemned to eternal damnation.

Be-Do-Have Paradigm
The “Be-Do-Have Paradigm” is a way of looking at life/God. It is nothing more or less than that. Yet this way of looking at life/God could change your life and probably will. Because what is true about this paradigm is that most people have it all backward and when they finally get it straightened out and start looking at it frontward, everything in their lives shifts 180-degrees.

1 Life is always functional. When any facet of it (Any person, place or thing) begins to skirt the face of functionality, life detects the shift of energy at once and puts into place an adaptation (change).

2 This adaptation assures that life remains sustainable.

3 As life sustains itself through its new changed form, life comes functional once again.

The small part of life (God) that is YOU chooses for things to change, when the things that are already (and always) occurring to produce instability in the system. Your soul can detect the onset of system instability long before it can have any negative effect. - That is its job.

Sensing this onset of instability, the soul awakens the mind, which then co creates with the soul (and with other energies in the system) whatever change (adaptation) will keep things spinning at optimum velocity.

Hence Life is a process that informs life about life, through the process of life itself.

WHAT IS THE NEW AGE?

(Channel for the KRYON) The Kryon is a part of Divine energy from beyond the Veil, so to speak, who imparts divine knowledge to us as humans.
Books such as the Bible, the Koran and other scripture are made up of channelled information

This information isn't presented to make you change your religion. Its purpose is only to inform you, and perhaps along the way, to eventually change your tolerance level.

So who is writing this? Okay, I'm the channel, and author of this book, but before I got "weird," I was a very logical 20-year audio engineer and "straight thinker." I still feel that I'm a straight thinker - just a weird one. Being an engineer does not automatically exempt me from free spiritual thought, and my intuition regarding spiritual matters finally won out over what I was taught from birth about God. It became very logical to me, even more than the myths of history.

Many hear the words "New Age" and have a whole bunch of predetermined, market-driven perceptions of what it's all about. Some immediately think of flying saucers, cults, astrology, tarot, alien autopsies, past lives, and hordes of people lined up to go to their psychic. I won't deny that many of these things play a part in the overall picture of the New Age, because they do. But first, let me give you some other perspectives.
Please identify the belief attached to the following: Jonestown; Waco Branch Divisions; Heaven's Gate (suicide cult that, in death, went to join up with a flying saucer behind the Hale Bopp comet); and a Denver cult that is in Israel right now (5/99) waiting for the millennium change so that their leader can die in the streets of Jerusalem and come back from the dead three days later.

Strange and head-shaking stuff, huh? The belief associated with all of these was Christianity. What? That wasn't your perception? The Jonestown and the Waco group were originally followers of Christian gospel preachers. The Denver cult in Israel right now is called "Concerned Christians." The Heaven's Gate folks were not New Age, even though it was reported that they were by all the news networks and national magazines. I guess when you commit suicide in order to board an invisible flying saucer behind a comet, you automatically become New Age! The facts show that the Heaven's Gate cult was a self-professed Christian group! Their web-site said as much, and on it they quoted the Bible, and Jesus. It was available for all to see for about a week after they left.

Why tell you this? Because obviously mainstream Christianity isn't at all like these isolated, dramatic groups. Mainstream Christianity has integrity, does not promote cults, and presents a very loving invitation to join a family-oriented, love-based religion. But the kooks are indeed there - big time.
The New Age belief isn't about cults and weirdoes either, but since we also have our share - okay, more than our share - that's often the only press we receive. There is a reason why this happens, and why there isn't much resistance to this kind of reporting.

First of all, we are not evangelistic. So, if you are the sceptical person who has been asked to read this by a friend, know this: When you're finished, your friend isn't going to ask you to join anything, make a life decision, kneel down and meditate, go to a channelled meeting, get a reading, or even finish the rest of this book! They would probably just be happy if you told them that now you understand them a bit better - and love them more.

The New Age is not a religion, and there is no accompanying doctrine for you to study. It is, instead, a world philosophy. There is no central building that New Age folks have built with common contributions. In fact, there is no centralized control or headquarters of any kind. That's why we have no political clout to bring to bear against those who would ridicule us. We don't have an organization! We have no lobby in Congress.
There is no priesthood or ministerial program - no approved schools or even courses that graduate ordained New Age pastors. There are no elders or deacons, and no programs for teachers to be trained in the church. Oh, by the way, did I tell you that there is no church? That means we don't have any New Age parochial schools for children, with New Age teacher influences. We have no single person whom we call "leader," whom we can turn to for advice when things get tough. We have no sacred shaman, present or past.
There is nothing to join, nobody to follow, and no central book that explains what we believe! There are no regular meetings, no syndicated television programs, no ministries to support, and no rules to follow. Some cult, huh? Oh yes - and there is no place to send your money.

Well, you might say, it sounds pretty wishy-washy. Yep. It did to me, too, until I realized what was happening. The New Age philosophy pulls upon an intuitive knowledge that we believe every Human alive possesses. And within this knowledge there is incredible singularity!

No matter where the Kryon team travels on this globe, thousands of people come to our seminars who fully understand this "wishy-washy" philosophy as though all the centralized buildings and teachers were there! There seems to be wisdom at the cellular level that understands even some of our weirdest concepts. No matter what language is spoken, or what culture, or how many there are, the people somehow intuitively "know" what we teach. They "own" it, too. Almost item by item, our belief system has a group understanding as though it was all written down somewhere - inside.

You might say, "Okay, you just gave me a laundry list of what you are not. Then, what are you?"
We are a group of Humans with a philosophy that teaches that all of us go through life cycles. Indeed, this means past lives. We believe that there are no accidents, but rather challenges or lessons that we actually help create at some spiritual level. That means that we believe in taking responsibility for everything in our lives. A mainstream New Age believer would never join a cult, never follow a leader in a suicide, and never sit around blaming others for who they are. A New Age believer is aware that there is tremendous power within the Human Being. Self-Worth is taught, as well as how to work through fear and uncertainty. Human enablement is the key, and "intent to create positive change in our lives" is our mantra.

We believe that there are forces at work that can balance Humans using energy. We regularly use hands-on healing and energy work to balance others in order to help them heal. We pray for others, meditate for world peace, and strive toward attaining wisdom that will allow us to love one another no matter what.
Hey! What about the flying saucers? Even Shirley McLean talked about UFOs.
It's not a big deal. If they are there, then so be it. Following flying saucers and being abducted is not a staple of the New Age philosophy; in fact, most abductees are not New Age believers. Many of us believe that there is other life in the universe, and that there is a great chance that we even have some of their biological evolution. Pretty weird, huh? (By the way, scientists are beginning to believe that there is a good chance of "life exchange" from planet to planet through the visits from one astral body to another of comets, asteroids, and even meteors). We can't prove this any more than Christians can prove heaven and hell, or prove that the Pope is divine. I mention this as a comparison, not to pass judgment on another belief.

We believe that today's weirdness is tomorrow's science - perhaps even tomorrow's religious doctrine if someone finds out how to build a church around it. A decade ago, science said that God is dead and that there was no evidence of other life in the universe. Today (according to a recent issue of Newsweek magazine), science has "found" God! There is positive evidence that life could exist, and as of this writing, astronomers have discovered a multitude of planets outside our solar system! Yesterday's (1980) New Age weirdness has become mainstream science (1999). We believe that there is much of our "intuitive" teaching that will be validated over time, since it is happening all around us even as I write this.

We do not pass judgment. We believe that to "love one another" means tolerance of belief. We celebrate another's miracle within their belief system. We honour the pure search for God, no matter what course it takes or what the "name is on the door" of the building. Many New Age believers attend church regularly. To be in the New Age belief does not mean that you have to throw away your love for Jesus or Elijah or any other master, either (just in case anyone told you that). We are joyful when things are in balance, and we willingly join together with anyone in any religious belief system who will pray with us for a common humanitarian goal. We don't make others "wrong." We don't tell our believers that God smiles only on us. We encourage the search for the true essence of God!

We believe in taking care of our own personal spirituality as the catalyst to changing the planet. We do not believe that our work is to change others. Each individual will decide that for him or herself. Many who briefly look into our beliefs find it difficult to grasp, since there is no structure, no rules, and no doctrine. Some have called us the "church of what's happening now," a comical critique indicating that we float a lot.
Our "floating" attribute is that there is no man-made structure around God in our belief. It's not boxed into compartments that are easily followed. We feel that Humans are empowered to make grand spiritual decisions on their own. That is not like the religions of today, where there has to be a system. By the way, Jesus taught the same thing. According to the scholars studying the Dead Sea scrolls, Jesus was called "the wicked priest" by the Jewish priests of his time. This is because He told common folks that they were empowered (all by themselves, without all the religious ceremony of the day). He told them that they could be just like Him (Sons of God). That's what the New Age believers think, too - no big buildings or restrictive doctrines - only responsibility at the cellular level for all that is.

We believed in guides and angels long before the explosion of angel shops on the planet. Our channelling (the weird part) agrees with most of the predictions of the indigenous peoples of the planet. Ten years ago, our intuitive information spoke of the weather patterns that we are seeing out our window today. For decades we have given you unsubstantiated healing techniques. Suddenly, in this last year, many of them were validated through scientific study, as reported in the November 11, 1998, issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association (see page 373).

We also have a belief in the future of humanity that is far different from Armageddon, or the doom-and-gloom predictions of Nostradamus. We believe that what you are seeing in the world today is far closer to what we told you would happen than what others have presented in their fear-based scenarios. We invite examination of all this, but not to win you over - rather, to help you understand that perhaps there is a far grander and bigger picture of God than you thought. Perhaps Humans are grander than you thought. Perhaps we are more grounded than you thought. Did you notice that Armageddon didn't happen? How do you explain that? Perhaps there is something else happening?

Do you believe in an after-life? So does 85 percent of the world's population (according to an article in Time Magazine in 1998). So do we. That means that most people on the planet believe that Humans are eternal somehow. The New Age believer thinks that, too. We also believe that an eternal being is created in the image of God, and that perhaps this means we are part of God. We also believe that Jesus taught just that - that all humanity shares the equal image of God - divine, with choice, and very eternal.
So we celebrate you! We don't care if you join us - really! We teach that there is no heaven or hell, and that when we die, we pass over to our original spiritual state. We go home. We believe that we are all family. If you read the rest of this book, you will find that that's what the channelled information is about - family. (The pope agrees with the heaven and hell thing... see his words quoted off the Vatican website in Kryon Book 8, page 110)

What do we want from you? To think like us? No. We ask you for your tolerance and understanding. New Age people who group together to meet and take spiritual responsibility for themselves and practice self-worth and forgiveness are not the weird, spooky folks that are "out of touch" with reality. We are not "off the deep end" or brainwashed. We are a spiritually unstructured group of gentle people, and we don't care if you believe what we believe. We are disappointed, however, if you fear us. Is your fear coming from your heart, or from what others told you? Without doctrinal judgment, we covet your love, and in return, we will have a bond that surpasses all doctrines, yet frees us both to have our own.

Let me close this discussion with an example that millions of people around the world saw in the form of the most popular film ever made. I don't know if director James Cameron knew of the metaphor that he created in the last scene of Titanic. I just about fell off my chair in the theatre when I realized what he was doing. For those of you who didn't see the movie, I won't spoil it for you - but I have to tell you, the ship sinks (sorry).
Many who saw the film remembered that the last scene had something to do with an older woman standing at the stern of a modern research ship, about to throw something off. They forgot. Instead, the last scene is a metaphysical statement that we are all eternal! It shouts to all of us that after death there is a realization that "the play is over," and even the villains are standing there next to the heroes with smiles, welcoming home the one final member of the family. The entire cast was there - young, vibrant, and applauding the last one to come back home. What a statement! What love!

Thank you, James Cameron. Your cellular intuition gave us the ultimate visualization of what the New Age is really about. It's about loving each other. It's about being spiritually equal. It's about family.
That's what we are about.

I want to take this opportunity to speak of channeling in general. It is often misunderstood as something spooky and weird and I'll bet you have certain friends that you would never tell... that you were looking at this web page! Some feel it is evil, and many don't want anything to do with it. They would rather stick to other information that isn't channelled (they think).

Channeling Definition: The divine, inspired words (or energy) of God as imparted to Humans by Humans.
The above definition is what channeling actually IS. That means that not only were most of the sacred scriptures of the planet (all religions) channelled originally, but also much artwork and music too! It is absolutely commonplace, but like so many other re-emerging processes in the New Age, it has a stigma about it that is strange. God did not write the Bible... Humans did, while divinely inspired.

We have been used to having "authorized and sanctioned" men and women of God passing information to us... not the common folks. Therefore in this New Age, where the actual basic intent of the New Age Master of Love is beginning to surface (that of self enablement for those other than the priests of the land), we are seeing more and more "common folk" passing on the information of God.

Even in our own culture, we accept the letters from a common man to his friends in several cities in the Holy Land... as the sacred words of God! (This is how much of the New Testament of the Holy Bible was written.) Think about it. That's channeling!

We believe that God did not stop speaking to humans 2,000 years ago. To think that God stopped communicating is to deny your own divinity, or to assign some special sacredness to the past, not feeling worthy to consider yourself part of God's continued plan for an enlightened Earth. You are worthy of a continued communication with God... which I teach is actually a part of YOU!

But there is something that comes with channeling....
Responsibility!

Anyone can channel, and Spirit is not proprietary in this regard. It's for all Humans, and not just a few. Therefore the ability and potential exists for this attribute for us all. Like so many other things, INTENT of the human means everything. Not all channeling is given with PURE INTENT. Therefore, some is real, and some is not... and YOU should be able to tell the difference when you HEAR or READ it. Is it really from Spirit?
Many men and women are spouting verbiage these days, calling it inspired... some on web pages just like this. How can you tell if it's real or not, since there is no organization telling you who is "OK" and who is not? (Aren't you glad?)

The responsibility of a REAL channel is AWESOME. Sacred, anointed information can change lives! Self-serving egocentric and fearful information can be confusing and actually halt a person’s spiritual growth. How can you know the difference? Kryon tells us that we have the power of discernment to know, and that we will even be able to "feel" the difference.

For those of you who are still learning what that feeling is, I have some information that may help. It was published originally in New Realities magazine, July 1987... Two years before I began channeling (how appropriate). The article is called "Guidelines for Spiritual Discernment." Twelve (12) guidelines are shown in the article for the reader to watch for, both negative and positive. I believe this information is accurate, and was developed by enlightened Humans to teach other Humans.

Below I present Seven (7) of the twelve (as also presented in Kryon Book Six, "Partnering With God").
The next time you sit before a channel or read a transcription, consider these seven items presented below. As you listen to or read the words of a channelled, also try to ask "what is the intent of the human speaking?" Is there any ego or Human agenda? If you detect it... then stop. There cannot be Human ego present for the information to be accurate and true. Spirit demands this of the channelled... I know. I also know from over twelve years of live channeling experience that the message will ALWAYS be filled with love, and not fear. Watch for this!

Do you "recognize" the energy as familiar and feeling like "home?" This is another key. If you don't, and you can't identify with the entity or entities that are channeling through the Human, then perhaps you should pass on the message for now. Not all channeling is from an entity. Much of it comes form your own spiritual centre. Don't always try to determine "who" it is, asking for a name or trying to put skin and bones to it. Consider that your core is the Love of God... and is also able to give YOU messages for YOU.
IMPORTANT: Please take a moment to read the "four attributes of love" as presented in chapter one of the Kryon Book - Partnering with God. It will help you to understand an ego-less state... and some of the attributes of pure sacred energy.

Discern for yourself. What is happening? Messages from a human? ... or messages from a loving and wise God? I expect and welcome this test for everything I write and speak as a channel for Kryon. It absolutely must stand up every time.

GUIDELINES FOR DISCERNMENT - New Realities Magazine - July 1987
Paraphrased...
1. There will always be useful information for everyone. Beware of the channel that gives you useful information for only a few, or tells you that it's only for a special group or a sequestered number. It must be useful for ALL humanity, every single Human. This is an area of discernment allowing you to know you are hearing the truth.

2. The message should be uplifting. Watch for an empowering message - NOT ONE OF FEAR, not one that drags you down - not one that makes you want to take fearful action or hide - but an enabling message! This is a staple of God energy. It must be there. It should inspire the listener and reader. Every recorded angel appearance before a Human Being has begun with "Fear not!"

3. Spirit (God) will never, ever channel a message that asks you to give up your free will. Never! For your free will is what your experience on Earth is all about as you sit in your "chairs of gold" (a metaphor created in Kryon Book Six). Free will! FREE CHOICE is what drives your future.

4. Spirit will never give you a message - ever - that asks you to violate the integrity of what you believe. You are honoured in your thought processes. Spirit will never trick you or "talk you" into anything. The message must never violate your integrity. You must feel comfortable with it, and it must ring true to your heart.

5. Spirit will never represent a channelled as being the only source. Watch for this, for there are many channels of Spirit and they all coordinate their information to create a bigger picture, especially in this New Age. They will NEVER represent themselves as the ONLY source of information.

6. Watch for the fact that the information is normally new information. Beware of the channel that simply re-hashes the old, for they are not channeling anything but the ego of the Human Being. New information is necessary. It is the entire reason for the channel. Think about it.

7. Watch for the fact that channelled information should have spiritual solutions presented. Solutions to life challenges on Earth, via new information, is the purpose of channeling.
